Social commitment as a generator of value and engagement
We help to see the social commitment of the Multiópticas Foundation through the eyes of five employees who have tested the sight of more than three thousand people from Nepal and handed over 4,500 pairs of glasses.
Ana Muñoz (Multiópticas Iri in Málaga), Yolanda Gené (Multiópticas Gené in Valencia), Mónica García (Multiópticas Iglesias in Chiclana de la Frontera), Paulino Suárez (Multiópticas El Mirador in Gran Canaria) and Saúl González de León (Multiópticas Las Rotondas in Fuerteventura) have been the leading lights in the second edition of the Nepal Project of the Multiópticas Foundation and the Red Cross.
For fifteen days they travelled to remote villages in Nepal where they checked the sight of and handed over spectacles and sunglasses to the greatest possible number of inhabitants.
Our consultant Aina Tugas was responsible for coordinating the communication materials in the field. She managed the social networks, drew up and compiled the audiovisual materials and dealt with the drafting of the contents for the dissemination of this charity project which improved the sight or more than three thousand people from Nepal and helped Spanish society see the real state of affairs in the country.
It was very successful. We managed to afford visibility to the social commitment of the Multiópticas Foundation and to its values which allowed the narrowing of the relationship of the partners, employees and workers with the Foundation.
